REAL CLUB DE GOLF EL PRAT
It was founded in 1912, as the Barcelona Golf Club in Pedralbes, on the initiative of many golf-loving Barcelonese nobles and aristocrats. It was the first golf course in Barcelona and it later moved to el Prat de Llobregat in 1954, close to Barcelona airport. The city was growing and the club needed to take this leap to modernise its installations. It was then renamed Real Club de Golf El Prat.
Currently and since 2003 due to expansion of the airport, it is located on BonVilar property, between Terrassa and Sabadell, only 30 minutes from Barcelona. It is surrounded by natural landscape of 210 hectares, plus the 13,000 hectares of the Sant Llorenç del Munt I l’Obac Natural Park.
Greg Norman designed 45 holes with a unique approach combining comfort (adapting the course to every level and style of play) with beauty (integrating the seven courses with nature). In fact, this respect for the environment is the basis of the club philosophy, and it was awarded with ISO 14001 in recognition of its commitment to sustainability.
The Real Club de Golf El Prat is a sports landmark: the most awarded in Europe, hosting many professionals active on many national and European circuits. A level of excellence ratified in the ten times it has organised and celebrated the Spanish Open.

PGA CATALUNYA GOLF
Inaugurated in 1999, PGA Catalunya Resort is the site of many professional and amateur tournaments of national and international prestige. Its Stadium Course is recognised as one of the best in Europe. Besides its two superb golf courses, PGA Catalunya Resort is the fruit of an innovative approach to developing an ambitious residential project.
This Girona course has been characterised since its foundation by its sportive commitment. Just 10 months after it opened, it became the only course to host two competitions of the PGA European Tour in such a short period of time: the Sarazen World Open in October 1999 and the Spain Open in April 2000. This tournament was celebrated here again in 2009, and was won by Thomas Levet (France).
Of enormous beauty, Stadium Course is marked by its difficulty, with many trees and water throughout the course, par-7 and a course length of 6.706m. A long course, ideal for good shooters, where precision is absolutely mandatory.
Perfectly integrated in nature, each corner offers wonderful landscapes and superb views, with narrow paths surrounded by trees, protecting greens many of which are hidden.
CLUB DE GOLF LLAVANERAS
This club was founded in 1945 and is located at 34 kilometres from Barcelona centre. It is a cosy and family-style club whose priority is excellence in its services and in its attention to its members and visitors.
The 18-hole and par-70 course and its 34 hectares was designed by British architect F.W. Hawtree, and modified later by Spanish designers Ramón Espinosa, Magí Sardà and Alfonso Vidaor. This course is technically demanding, at 5028m, narrow paths, mid-sized greens and bunkers with water often featured throughout the course. It is a course adaptable to all kinds of players, from the novice to the most experienced.
All over the course we can enjoy sea views, vegetation which provides an ideal habitat for a variety of fauna and optimal weather conditions all year. In addition, excellent course maintenance will guarantee the player unforgettable moments and the wish to repeat the experience.
Pay particular attention to hole 17, par-4 at 262 metres distance with a high tee and magnificent views over the course with the Mediterranean Sea below, inviting the most daring to reach the green in one shot.
This “hole in one” challenge has not yet been met.
