GOLF-COURSES
Leopard Creek
Innovative architectural and landscaping techniques ensure that the Leopard Creek golf course and living areas are naturally protected from animals, while lakes and small streams have been diverted through the development to create scenic vistas and interesting golf strategies.
Golfing hazards take on a new dimension at Leopard Creek, for much of the water is home to the magnificent creatures for which the river is named, crocodiles.
Extensive use has been made of water features and sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant are commonplace, on the course or in the Kruger Park bordering the course.
The 505 meter par-five 13th is one of Leopard Creek’s most memorable holes. Here the green is right on the edge of the Crocodile river but 32 meters above the level of the water, offering magnificent views up the river and into the Kruger Park.
The Pinnacle Point Golf Course
The Pinnacle Point Golf Course it’s something really special for the most exigent golfers.
This 18-hole championship golf-course was designed by the famous south African golf architect Peter Matkovich, who opens the course in 2006 with the best Ireland professional golf-player Darren Clarke.
In 2007 Pinnacle Point was awarded as one of the best ten golf-courses in the world by Travel & Leisure magazine, and in 2016 as the best golf-course in South Africa by the World Golf Awards.

Gary Player Country Club at Sun City
The Gary Player Golf Course was designed by Gary Player and it’s a 18-holes par 72 course, with a 5km tour distance.
Built in a switch-off volcano crater, this golf paradise complies with technical rules from USA and PGA and in 2015 was awarded as the best golf-course in South Africa by World Golf Awards.
Annually the Nedbank Golf Challenge takes place here, and it welcomes some the worldwide golf legends.
When the Sun City Resort building starts on 1978, the decision of to build a golf-course in competition with best over the world was taken.
Durban Country Club
Durban Country Club is a golf-course with a lot of history and tradition, and its only claim is to be classified among the Top 100 courses in the World by the USA Golf Magazine.
It’s also classified in the Top-5 in South Africa by Golf Digest.
A combination of lush coastal vegetation, sand dunes and breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean make this course one of the most unique and challenging in the world.
